Skyline Charity Golf Classic Raffle Opens to Support Local Students
The Skyline Charity Golf Classic raffle opened on 1 October 2026, giving the wider community a chance to win one of 15 prizes worth more than $60,000 while helping Wakatipu High School students attend Branches Camp.
The charity raffle runs as part of the Skyline Charity Golf Classic, extending the tournament’s fundraising impact beyond the golf course.
The prize line-up brings together 15 standout experiences worth more than $60,000, including international and New Zealand travel, tickets to major sporting events, memorable golf packages, Queenstown adventures and dining, and iconic South Island experiences.
Net proceeds will go to Branches Charitable Trust, helping ensure cost is not a barrier for Year 10 students taking part in a formative local experience that has been part of growing up in the Wakatipu for nearly six decades.
Branches Charitable Trust Chairperson Carlyn Topp says the camp helps students discover what they are capable of.
“Seven nights without phones, parents or home comforts means they have to rely on each other, problem-solve and step outside their comfort zone. Every year, we see students return more confident, more resilient and more connected to their classmates and the outdoors. It stays with them long after they leave.”
Skyline Queenstown General Manager Wayne Rose says every ticket sold will make a difference.
“Branches Camp can be a life-changing experience for local young people. We want to help make sure every student has the opportunity to take part, regardless of their personal circumstances.”
Tickets go on sale from 1 October 2026 at $100 each, with entries closing 28 November at 5pm. Winners will be drawn the following evening, 29 November at 6:30pm, marking the finish of the Skyline Charity Golf Classic tournament. The goal is to sell 1000 tickets, with every ticket helping more local students experience Branches Camp.
Raffle tickets are open to New Zealand residents aged 18 and over, with no tournament pass required.
