UPDATE: Power restored in Queenstown CBD

Update: Power is now restored.

Power is out for 132 premises in Queenstown CBD, including the Queenstown App / Lakes Weekly Bulletin offices.

Aurora Energy's new power outage website says the company's response crew is investigating after the unplanned outage, which began at 7.20am, Wednesday, 11 October.

Current streets affected are Beach Street, Brecon Street, Duke Street, Man Street, Rees Street, Shotover Street.

The estimated time for reconnection has now been updated to 12.30pm (it was previously 10.35am).

There's also a planned outage for maintenance today at Closeburn, near Fernhill, for maintenance, from 8.30am to 4.50pm.
