Police release name of man found dead on street in Invercargill

Police have released the name of the man found dead in Invercargill on Sunday morning.

He was Quinn David McIntyre, 42, from Hāwea Flat.

McIntyre was found dead near the intersection of Sydney Street and St Andrew Street on Sunday morning.

His death was being treated as unexplained and the police investigation was ongoing.
