Can structural changes at the governmental and business levels truly drive decarbonisation and promote sustainable behaviours?

Join Outlet host Brent Harbour as he chats with Wao general manager Monique Kelly about the upcoming WAO Summit.

Brent and Monique discuss the streamlined five-day summit programme, that focuses on food and community resilience, better business practices, sustainable building, and climate action.

Monique shares the changes and highlights of this year's event, emphasising the critical role of community involvement and local not-for-profits.

They also discuss the importance of fostering sustainable behaviours, with real-world examples like the reduction of plastic bag usage, and delve into the Better Business day, designed to equip the tourism sector with essential sustainable tools, and the workshop on community resilience post-Cyclone Gabriel.

The Wao Summit runs from 29 October to 2 November.
