English translation:

Queenstown Multicultural Festival 2023: the celebration that unites us
The cultural diversity in Queenstown is undeniable. Different communities from all parts of the world converge in one city, in search of new opportunities and integration.
Even though many people have chosen Queenstown as their new home, many are close to their country of origin, it is important to connect with our own roots to maintain a sense of belonging and identity, which is often difficult to find as immigrants.
By interacting with people from different backgrounds, we develop the ability to understand and respect the perspectives and values of others, also fostering tolerance, empathy, collaboration, openness and inclusion.
Multiculturalism alone is about the coexistence of different cultures, as well as the opportunity to learn from each other. Even though our roots can be unique, we all share the desire for connection with the community.
This coming Saturday will present the opportunity to honor and explore the many cultures that share this city. This is the “Queenstown Multicultural Festival 2023”, the second edition of this event that will offer a day full of entertaining activities to celebrate the diversity and richness of our traditions.
The event will feature more than 40 varieties of cuisine from different countries, numerous stands with demonstrations and crafts from participating communities, exhibitions, live music, typical dances, performances by local artists, games and entertainment for children, as well as a variety of workshops , among many other surprises.
The organizers and volunteers have carried out months of intense preparation for this meeting where the arrival of thousands of people is expected, and they invite all communities to participate to celebrate what unites us and what makes us different, open a bridge where we can share customs and thus build and strengthen bonds.
The festival is announced as a sustainable science, so the objective is to be free from waste. For this reason, it is necessary to bring your own container or plates, bowls, vases and covers; such as toothpicks, toothpicks and knives, as well as a water bottle considering the contamination problems that still persist in some areas of Queenstown.
The Multicultural Festival will take place next Saturday, October 7th at Queenstown Events Center, located on Joe O’Connell Drive, Frankton. The opening hours will be from 10:00 to 16:00 and entry is with donation.
