Glenorchy Air’s Cessna Grand Caravan EX over Milford Sound

Queenstown-based scenic flight company Glenorchy Air has been awarded a Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Best of the Best 2024 Award for its Milford Sound flightseeing / cruise experience.

The Tripadvisor Best of the Best Award is given to the top 1% of tourism experiences worldwide and is the highest award given by the travel website for reviewed experiences.

Glenorchy Air Managing Director James Stokes says: 'We are extremely proud to have received this award, which has been achieved through an unwavering commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

"We could not have achieved this award without the excellent service provided by our pilots and ground staff, or the great product provided by our cruise partner Southern Discoveries.”

Glenorchy Air has also held the top ranking for Tours and Activities in Queenstown since 2021 and has been a Tripadvisor Travellers Choice award winner since 2015.

The company flies from Queenstown and Glenorchy to Milford Sound, Mount Cook and Stewart Island and operates the most modern fleet of light aeroplanes in New Zealand, Including Cessna Grand Caravan EX, Daher Kodiak 100 and GippsAero GA8 Aircraft. It has been operating since 1992 and has been under ownership of Stokes Aviation since 2019.
