Fatal crash Wānaka

A person has died in a crash in Wānaka.

Police said the person died at the scene of a crash between two vehicles on Saturday afternoon. This was earlier reported as a crash between a vehicle and a person on a push bike.

Police would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the crash, or who might have dashcam footage.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Plantation Road and Anderson Road about 3.50pm.

The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
