Experience K-Culture & Get Fit: Saturday K-Pop Dance Fit for Everyone!
As migrants, sharing our culture with the wider Queenstown community is something we hold dear – and what better way to connect than through music and dance? With K-Pop taking the world by storm, the Queenstown Korean Association invites everyone to our fun and energetic weekly K-Pop Dance Fit class!
Dance Fit is a fantastic, high-energy workout where you can learn easy dance moves to popular K-Pop tunes while shaking off the week’s stress. It’s designed for all ages and fitness levels – from young children to seniors. Parents are welcome to bring their little ones along.
Every Saturday, our community operates two rooms packed with exciting cultural activities:
- K-Pop Dance Fit Class (for public)
- Taekwondo
- Korean Traditional Sogo (Small Drum) Dance Practice
There is no booking required – simply drop in and join the fun!
When: Every Saturday at 3.00pm
Where: Te Atamira /Kapa Rua
Cost: $5 donation per session – all donations will go directly towards funding our upcoming Korean Day event on 10 October.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, indoor shoes, and your energy!
The Korean Association of Queenstown began its activities locally in 2013 with the purpose of helping immigrants, visitors and the wider community to live peacefully and safely. It’s a vibrant close-knit community of about 200 members spread throughout Queenstown, Wānaka, Cromwell, and Southland. Members vary from children to elders in their 80s.
