As migrants, sharing our culture with the wider Queenstown community is something we hold dear – and what better way to connect than through music and dance? With K-Pop taking the world by storm, the Queenstown Korean Association invites everyone to our fun and energetic weekly K-Pop Dance Fit class!

Dance Fit is a fantastic, high-energy workout where you can learn easy dance moves to popular K-Pop tunes while shaking off the week’s stress. It’s designed for all ages and fitness levels – from young children to seniors. Parents are welcome to bring their little ones along.

Every Saturday, our community operates two rooms packed with exciting cultural activities:

  • K-Pop Dance Fit Class (for public)
  • Taekwondo
  • Korean Traditional Sogo (Small Drum) Dance Practice

There is no booking required – simply drop in and join the fun!

When: Every Saturday at 3.00pm
Where: Te Atamira /Kapa Rua
Cost: $5 donation per session – all donations will go directly towards funding our upcoming Korean Day event on 10 October.

It’s a vibrant close-knit community of about 200 members spread throughout Queenstown, Wānaka, Cromwell, and Southland. Members vary from children to elders in their 80s.
