Death at Jack's Point

Police have confirmed a person has died after a workplace incident in Jack's Point.

Emergency services were called to Homestead Bay Road shortly before 3pm yesterday, 28 March.

Details are scarce but WorkSafe has been advised.

"Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing," a police spokesperson said.

There are several active worksites in the area, off Māori Jack Rd, including construction sites.
