Entries are now open for the new Queenstown Arts Society Members Exhibition, Winter Tale. This year’s exhibition will be showing from 28 June at Te Atamira and is planned as a warming and delightful visual feast to help brighten the season with local and regional artists sharing their stories through painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and more.

Opening night is on Thursday, 27 June and is a chance to soak in the art along with the artists. Additionally, singer/songwriter Charlotta Haacke will be presenting ‘Whole Lotta Love’ with her captivating voice.

Over the course of the exhibition Queenstown Arts Society will be offering workshops and events to connect the local arts community creatively in Te Atamira’s warm spaces.

A “Winter Tale” is going to be a show that goes down like a good hot toddy! Consider a break from skiing and snowboard to let your mind be inspired and your soul space activated in a different way. This is a real winter treat, so don’t miss out.

If you are not a member it is easy to join and enter work into the exhibition – just visit the QAS website at www.queenstownartsociety.co.nz for details.

Opening night is Thursday, 27 June at 5.30pm. Exhibition begins Friday 28 June until Friday 2 August at Te Atamira, Remarkables Park Town Centre, Frankton.
